Spirituality evolves, it has to in order for us to continue to grow and heal but there is something still to be said about the lost traditions and customs of the Old Ways. What is there to challenge the seeker, when information is now handed over on a silver platter? I feel like this takes away from one’s right to “earn” their access to knowledge, thus depriving them of the very experiences and opportunities for growth that would be afforded to them if they did the work and put in the effort. The soul needs to be ready. Thereby making the journey a much more rewarding experience and a fair challenge. There’s also something to be said about physically been able to pass down the knowledge, through words, actions and practical experience.
I speak from experience, my journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been rewarding and wholesome and I feel more connected than ever.
